Whole Life Product Support (WLPS)
Since 1988, Austin Semiconductor has been providing the global high-reliability marketplace with products that provide long-term product life-cycles. We facilitate this, at your program level, via use of existing and emerging silicon, package design and adaptive manufacturing processes. As original silicon devices become obsolete, we offer repackaging of current or newer silicon devices, matching the electro-mechanical as well as functional attributes of the original device. When this process is no-longer feasible, we aid our customers engineering and program/platform teams through the transition process, extending the serviceable time-frame for the manufacturing process, until such time that a new or newer design replaces the items at end of serviceable life.
